Note about Homework
Some children will begin to have a math problem a night to solve.  This will be based on how the child did completing the problem of the day, which is a review of the addition and subtraction strategies taught this school year. If the child solved the problem correctly, no homework.  If the child did not solve the problem correctly, the child will have homework.
I am asking the parents to sign the homework page. 
The homework is due the next school day. 

This week we will:
- learn about solid shapes (3D) and learn basic fractions.  
- have reading groups based on reading levels and student needs.
- wrap up our class study of  fairy tales and begin individual or partner in class project on a chosen fairy tale.  
- write about stories read in class and learn how to proofread classmates' writings.

April 3- 7: Spring Break
