Today I shared with the class about my upcoming trip to Haiti that I will be taking during Fall Break.  I shared a Power Point with kids showing a few pictures, as well as a map of Haiti.
Our students drew pictures for the Haitian students at the the school where I will be working.
I also shared information with the kids about a 5K and kid's fun run this October at Cedarcrest Church.  The race and fun run benefits the Haitian Education Fund.  I would LOVE for the class to join me in this event. I will be running in the 5K, and I hope to cheer for our students running in the Fun Run. Please visit the link above for more information.
