Nov. 30- Dec. 4

This week we will:
- learn how to make line plots to show measurement data. 
- research polar mammals through Pebble Go, then write an informational paragraph about mammal. 
- write a friendly letter to our parents.
- review Long E, I, O, & U spelling patterns
- learn about pushes and pulls (simple machines). 
- work on poetry study.

We will not have new spelling words for a few weeks.  I want to review spelling patterns and rules for long vowels and r controlled vowels.

This week we will:
- review how to show a given three digit number different ways.
(expanded form, base ten blocks, written form, value of digits, standard form)  
- work on our informational writing project. 
- write a friendly letter to our parents. 
- learn about different forms of energy.
- continue our Nonfiction text features unit.
- begin poetry study.

We will not have new spelling words for a few weeks.  I want to review spelling patterns and rules for long vowels and r controlled vowels.
